Question

Im looking to buy a digital camera first time buyer any suggestions?

Answer

Get something that is really simple for beginners and does not need expensive accessories to bring out its best. Also, a good software package will be beneficial. brbrAlmost any brand of digicams will have such entry level cameras these days although my personal preference will be Panasonics Lumix FX series which has alot of potential but simple enough for the beginner. It does lack a good software bundle however. Alternatively Fujis Finepix series boasts a simple and intuitive interface for beginners my first was a Fuji Finepix and a relatively easy to use and powerful software bundle. brbrAnother factor will be the memory card your future camera uses. Secure Digital SD cards are almost the cheapest when it comes to high speed variations Panasonic and Pentax are couple of brands that uses them. Technically, Compact Flash are even cheaper although few entry level cameras uses them. xD Cards are very high quality but is expensive when you compare against SD Cards Fuji uses this. Sonys Memory Sticks Duo are also relatively expensive but has very high transfer speeds.
